A plea for looking closely at humorous images in the classroom
The institute IVMV studies the role of images in our society. In 2022, Heidi de Mare wrote a paper about why we shouldn’t lose touch with art, imagery, and humour in our learning environment.
„Who laughs at an image, should be able to explain in words why. Being able to do so provides a common ground for understanding each other’s humour“.
